Photo Resistor Crossbuck Controller The Photo Resistor Crossbuck Controller circuit is designed to automatically turn on and off a pair of crossbucks for a crossing. The crossbuck controller has 2 photo resistors that can be setup under the track to monitor for trains. When a train covers a photo resistor the crossbucks flash. The crossbucks will continue to flash until both resistors are uncovered. This controller will work with your model power crossbucks. Note this designed to work with the 3 wire per crossbuck signal, 2 red and one black. Because the TMI Photo Resistor Crossbuck Controller circuit measures approximately 1.5 inches by 2.5 inches it is small enough to be mounted under any building.
